In response to statement's you made in your blog, i think that white men are very selfish in there writing style becauese they are writing about there history, and there action's. the actions of other white men that they identify with, this is what they teach in schools because the very injustice that they caused the native Amerian's is something they take pride in as a victory. unfortunately the fact is that if Native American's (blackfoot) want to teach there young the truth they will have too write book's and utilize the opportunity they have living on the reservation's, and being in charge of great aspects of there lives to be organized, and have those who are educated within the tribe too spend there time creating educational material for future young tribe member's too learn. the kind of book's that can stand the test of time, and be passed on too future generation's, it is really up to the tribe member's to set these wheels into motion. the quality, and content of the education in which the blackfoot children get will determine there outlook. America is a vast and large country. the outsider's of the tribe who have no tribal connection, or ancestry cannot understand the unique feeling of being a Native American. and cannot be left with the responsibility of raising, or educating Native American people, the Mathematic's, English, and History which is being taught outside of the tribe must learned. however as children and young people the tribal member's should be certain too establish a solid educational experience to embelish upon the children of the tribe. this will allow them to continue in the tribal way's but too be advanced and knowledgabel about the world. tribal members must increase there number's and educate one another, and build the future they could have had among theselves, and let the other's go.
